Over the years I have enjoyed presenting numerous workshops. On this page you will find information concerning upcoming workshops as well as previous offerings. In the past I have facilitated workshops concerning shamanic work, ceremony and ceremonial healing, men's issues, general spirituality, mythopoetics, and shadow work. My current therapeutic, academic and consultation obligations permit me to facilitate two or three workshops per year. I am pleased to have the opportunity to present the Waters of the Soul Spiritual Retreat© with author, scholar and lay Cistercian Carl McColman. This is a true interfaith gathering utilizing silence, storytelling and ceremony to help retreatants focus on where we are individually and collectively in our spiritual evolution. Participants leave with increased clarity about their spiritual discipline and practice while informing that growth with the ecumenical energy of the various faiths present.
Previous retreatants have included Christian, atheist, Buddhist, agnostic and Neopagan adherents. This rich tapestry energetically demonstrates to us the current evolutionary task of delving deep into a tradition while growing in respect, empathy and reconciliation with other paths. For me, the retreat reflects a statement of Aldous Huxley, "Dogma divides, Spirit unites," and the opening lines of the Tao Te Ching - "The Way that can be named is not the true Way." We come together to clarify where we are in our particular practice by sharing with fellow seekers of other faiths and to feel deeply the resonance of Spirit in all of our lives.

What brings me joy in doing presentations is the planning, learning and interaction with others. The marketing piece tends to elude me.
